This Video will walk you through retrieving your Gate Pass:
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to download a gate pass from Pipeline Post-Sale Services, ensuring secure access for buyers.
NOTE: To obtain a gate pass, the vehicle’s payment must have been deposited by the auction, OR your dealership must have a pre-approved payment agreement with the auction.
Key Steps
Step 1: Securely Log In to Pipeline Post-Sale Services 0:04
Log in to EDGE Pipeline.
Navigate to ‘My Purchases’ then ‘Post-Sale Services’.
Confirm your identity using your Secure Login method.
Step 2: Find your purchase 0:26
Once the ‘Purchase History’ page loads, find the vehicle you need the gate pass for on the list.
A document icon will appear on a vehicle line item when any document is available for download.
This can include, but is not limited to,Gate Pass
Inspection Report (if a PSI was completed on the vehicle)
Bill of Sale
Step 3: Retrieve the Gate Pass 0:29
Click on the document icon
Click on the 'Gate Pass' button. It will automatically download.
Desktop: If your browser is set to ask where to save each file before downloading, choose your location, then click ‘Save’.
Mobile: The Gate Pass will automatically be saved to the Files or Downloads folder on your device, depending on the manufacturer.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that you are selecting the correct vehicle from the list to avoid downloading a document for the wrong vehicle.
Tips for Efficiency
On mobile, familiarize yourself with where your phone saves downloaded documents to quickly find the document for printing or forwarding to your transporter.
