This article outlines the steps needed to successfully receive a transportation quote from Montway Auto Transport and how to purchase transportation on vehicles purchased through EDGE Pipeline.

Transportation rates are determined from point-of-pickup to the delivery address for your order, which is the dealership location on file with AuctionACCESS. 

See a list of participating auctions here.  Transportation is only available in the continental US to valid US zip codes.


Order Transportation

  1. Purchase a vehicle on EDGE Pipeline (via Simulcast, Buy Now/Make Offer, or an EDGE.Auction event).

  2. Go to your My Purchases page on EDGE Pipeline.

  3. Click 'Ship now with Montway' to manage your transportation orders.
    1. If you already clicked View to go to a specific purchase date page, click the Manage Transportation button to go to the same ordering page. 
  4. The page will load a quote for each purchase, which may take a few moments. Click the Montway checkbox next to each unit to select the vehicles for which you want to order transportation.
    1. If you see a red error message on a vehicle that includes the verbiage "Delivery First Name," it means the auction billed it out directly to the dealership instead of to you specifically with a bidder badge number.
    2. For fastest resolution, the best course of action is to call the auction directly and ask that they reverse the sale then issue you a bidder badge and bill the vehicle out to that badge number.

  5. Review your transportation order, then select Confirm & Place Order.

  6. You will see the confirmation screen "Order Successfully Placed."  Click Done.

Track Transportation

  1. From the Manage Transportation page, click the Order History tab

  2. Click Track Order. A page will show your vehicle's transportation progress.
