Contacts is a way for the auction to get notifications to the right person at the auction depending on what is needed. As an admin, you will be able to set up different roles within the auction employees so that a person or group can get emailed for the sale, event or applicable reason.
[Note: Setting a staff person as a Contact for something does not automatically create a "Member" (user account) for them.]
Assigning Role types to a contact identifies that person or group to get email notifications for that selected type of activity. For example, choosing Buy Now for a contact will send an email to the person(s) to alert them of an offer on a vehicle that is listed as a Buy Now on . The Contacts that are set with a type of "Dealer Registration" will be notified about cross auction registration requests from new dealers. Etc.
