Data Feed Overview

Auction Edge sends vAuto the Pipeline Presale Report once per hour, from 7:00 AM to Midnight EST. Only vehicles actively listed on Pipeline are included — unlisted vehicles will not appear in Stockwave.


Inventory Not Showing in Stockwave

Most reports of missing inventory are due to dealer account configuration, not a data issue on Auction Edge’s end. From a desktop, in General Settings, check these first:


  • Business Plan Filters — dealers may be filtering by make/model, mileage, condition grade, location, or other parameters that hide certain vehicles or auction houses.

  • View/Sourcing Strategy — the dealer’s active view or sourcing strategy may be restricting which auctions are visible.


Resolution: Direct the dealer user to contact their local dealership’s vAuto/Stockwave Administrator to review Business Plan settings and sourcing strategy filters for their dealership. 


Can’t Find an Auction in the Stockwave App?

Use this workaround to locate a specific auction house:


  1. Vehicles > Refine > Filter by Auction House > Select Edge Pipeline

  2. Vehicles > Refine > Filter by Auction Location > Find and select the auction


Escalating to Stockwave Support

If dealer-side adjustments don’t resolve the issue, there are two escalation paths:

Call 855-COX-AUTO, say “vAuto,” and follow the prompts.

Auction Edge assists

Provide the dealership name, dealer’s Stockwave username/email to Auction Edge and we’ll coordinate with support on their behalf.
