The “Online Sale” component is where you manage your Simulcast sale. Use this section to configure your online lanes, launch your EDGE Simulcast components, monitor your live sale performance, and view reports.  To navigate to the page that we will use for these actions and reports, go to Online Sale → EDGE Simulcast.


Getting to the Sale Monitor

During a live sale, you can use the Sale Monitor to watch the overall progress and performance of all of your Simulcast lanes. To get to the Sale Monitor, log into EDGE Admin and navigate to Online Sale → EDGE Simulcast.

In the top section of the EDGE Simulcast page, click the SALE MONITOR button. Then select the desired Sale Event.



Using the Sale Monitor

Sale Monitor is intended to be used as a dashboard to monitor the progress and performance of your sale as it progresses throughout the day. The data an the page will update itself automatically, so there is no need to ever refresh your browser window.


There are two main sections of the Sale Monitor- "Lane Statistics" and "Attendees".


Lane Statistics

This section presents an overview of your sale by lanes. The columns in the table are

  • Lane - the name of the lane
  • Units - the count of total units assigned in that lane
  • Run - the count of units that have ran across the block so far
  • Total Sold - the count of units that have been sold so far
  • Sold Online - the count of units that have been sold to an online bidder so far
  • Total IF Sold - the count of units that have been put on an IF / Offer so far (NOTE: this count will not update as you close out you offers. It is a static "snapshot" of what happened at the block)
  • IF Sold Online - the count of units that have been put on an IF / Offer to an online bidder so far (NOTE: this count will not update as you close out you offers. It is a static "snapshot" of what happened at the block)
  • Bids Online - the count of total online bids that have happened in that lane so far
  • Attendees - the count of total attendees in that have joined that lave during the event
  • Proxy Bids - the count of Proxy Bids that have been submitted in that lane. You can click on the count to manage / manually delete Proxy Bids if necessary.


Attendees

This section presents an overview of the online attendees (bidders and seller reps). The column in the table are

  • Rep / Dealership - the name of the individual and their company. Click the rep name to see their Member page.
  • Badge - bidder badge number
  • Credit Limit - the credit limit set in your AMS for the rep
  • Bids - the number of bids the rep has done so for
  • Purchased - the number of units the rep has purchased so far
  • On IF - the number of units the rep has on IF / Offer
  • Lanes - an icon depicts the rep's current online status by lane
